This novel tells the story of a woman who, after having spent some years abroad, comes back to Prague to find somes trails of her lost childhood and to bring out the denunciation her father suffered in the past. But time has erased a lot of trails, and all the people who could have helped her to draw the framework of her past have disappeared. The only one left is Victor, her dear uncle she found back nearly out of a miracle.
Playing with the alternation between the present and the past, Tecia Werbowski makes us discover the very depths of the human soul, where love makes us act in a foolish way which calls forgiveness.
